Ryan Star

From the 2006 summer series Rock Star: Supernova, Ryan star was auditioning to front a super group containing Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee, ex-Metallica bassist Jason Newsted, and ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke. The Long Island native was a favorite of fans and producers and was invited back to perform on the series’ finale.

His career didn’t take off until 2009, when he opened for American Idol winner David Cook on tour and released the Last Train Home EP on Atlantic Records. The EP is highlighted by the award-winning track "Brand New Day", which is featured as the main theme to FOX's hit series, Lie To Me.
