The Grateful String Band - Eric Lambert & Jim Boukas are two guitar players from Indiana and Chicago (respectively) who began collaborating in January of 2012 as an acoustic duet. This project quickly evolved into a full bluegrass band with a Grateful Dead influence called The Grateful String Band. TGSB features members of Paradise Waits, Eric Lambert & Friends, Cornmeal, The Dimestore Stringband, and Dog 1. With Grateful Dead music as their common meeting place, TGSB also puts a bluegrass spin on many songs from Bob Dylan, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, David Grisman, The Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, Traveling Wilburys, and Johnny Cash to name a few.
